Remember In November: The Mother Of All Blue Waves Or Bust!

The way things are going, I just hope we have the Mother of All Blue Waves this November.  MAGA is a cancer on the body politic that needs to be eradicated, root and branch.  That is why, much to the chagrin of some purists, I will continue to "Vote Blue No Matter Who" until such cancer is fully eradicated.  Then, and only then, can we even THINK about taking on what remains of the neoliberal duopoly, which we also need to do, of course. And I have faith that it will be a rout this November.  Because the alternative (Republicans winning again) would be much worse.

Look, we clearly prefer genuine (and especially economic) progressives and leftists over squishy neoliberal centrists and identity politics.  But now is NOT the time for any ideological purity tests!  If we make the perfect the enemy of the good, we ultimately end up with neither, as we have learned the hard way.

This is our LAST CHANCE to save what is left of our beloved Republic, if it isn't already too late.  Look, we KNOW the GOP will cheat by attempting to rig the midterms, but if enough people vote Blue that would become much more difficult to rig.  Those who don't vote, vote third-party, vote write-in, or vote Republican will thus be asking for a TON of karma when all is said and done.

Wake Me Up When September (And October) Ends!

The song "Wake Me Up When September Ends" by Green Day hits particularly hard this year.  I would also add October as well, i.e. until the much-awaited midterm elections in November when we (hopefully!) have the Mother of All Blue Waves:

And then after the Blue Tsunami of the midterms when he is truly a lame duck, the very next song ("Homecoming") from the same Green Day album comes to mind: "Nobody likes you, everyone left you, and they're all out without you, having fun!"

The Blue Wave Has Begun, And The Donald's Days Are Numbered

With the results this November's elections, especially the upset victory of Zohran Mamdani in the NYC mayoral election, things are really looking up for the progressive Democrats, and looking down for Trump and the MAGA Republicans.  People have had ENOUGH of the latter, along with their neoliberal lapdogs posing as Democrats.  Especially as this government shutdown drags on.

Gee, who woulda thunk it, that starving one's own people and taking away their healthcare and manufacturing chaos for its own sake was somehow NOT a good strategy to win elections?

The 2026 midterms will clearly be a rout, God willing.

It won't be long before millions of soon to be ex-MAGA folks begin to claim that they had never supported Trump, and even opposed him from the start.  Natch.  But we have the receipts, of course.

Vote Blue, Like Your Life Depends On It!

We cannot emphasize this enough.  This one is for all the marbles, folks.  If we win, we will see the very first glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel that is America's long dark night of the soul.  If we lose, well, it's safe to say that all bets are off at that point.

The TSAP is of course neither Republican nor Democrat, and is clearly not a big fan of either corporate duopoly party in fact.  But we saw what happened in 2016 when too many people made the perfect the enemy of the good:  they ultimately ended up with neither.  And now Trump and the GOP are hell-bent on destroying for fun and profit what is left of everything that's still good about America.  So much damage is already done, but if the anticipated Blue Tsunami washes away the Red Tide that is currently drowning this country, there will at least be some hope of reversing it.  If not, the damage will most likely be irreversible at that point.

Thus, either the GOP suffers irreversible damage and essentially does seppuku, or America does.  The choice is ours, and we only get ONE SHOT this time.  This is literally a once in a lifetime opportunity to take our country back.  Republicans most likely will cheat as usual, but remember that cheating only works in close elections, not in landslides.

So get out there and VOTE BLUE like your life depends on it.  Because in many ways, it really does.
